Description Ferdière records several examples of le type Besançon from this site and amongst material examined in Roanne museum there were examples of type C262 in TF1. Vaginay illustrates the rim of a necked-jar (Vaginay 1986, fig.8,2) part of a group described as `céramiques grossière non-tournées' and noted as being an example of le type Besançon[3]. The same group includes Dressel 1b amphoras ( ibid., fig.8,12-15) and a plate imitating a Campanian form (fig.8,11).
