| Description |
Roanne is one of the most important sites for our
understanding of the early history of TF1.
There are large numbers of jars of class 1 and 2 and C262
from first century BC levels,
associated with a wide range of imports and local wares.
Bessou's 1976 publication,
currently one of the largest published assemblages from the site,
will shortly be superceded by a new study of the material
based largely on the material from Saint-Paul.
