| Description |
Massart illustrates and describes six jars with moulded-rims
in orange and brown wheel-thrown wares,
mica-slipped on the rim and shoulder.
Three (nos. 2, 4, 6) are tempered with coarse quartz sand.
It is noted that there are a number of other jars from the site
in similar fabrics
(fig.48,11-18),
but without the mica-slip.
These include plain beaded-rim and necked jars,
but also one with a moulded-rim (fig.48,17),
and it may be that all these vessels come from the same sources.
